COLLABORATION Meet and exchange ideas with fellow dermatology professionals who are committed to delivering the best care to patients nationwide. Join the editor and editorial board of the Journal of the Dermatology Nurses' Association (JDNA) for an interactive Writers Workshop, where new and experienced authors are welcome to receive feedback on manuscripts. DISCOVERY Gain insight from our expert panel as they discuss the Dermatology State of the Union on April 23. Explore the exhibit hall to view new products and network with nearly 100 exhibitors from pharmaceutical, medical device, and non-proft sectors. Product Theater sessions will also be available for those who would like to learn about specifc products and services of interest in the comfort of a private, seated environment. EDUCATION Choose from a variety of sessions to grow in your knowledge of the latest procedures, treatments, and trends. This program (including tracks on professional development, wound care, pediatrics, cosmetics, and more) has been developed as a result of past convention evaluations, educational needs assessment data, and current literature. There will be a special Wound Care Workshop open to a limited number of attendees. You can earn up to one nursing contact hour for every hour of educational time attended when you complete a post-convention evaluation. The convention will offer a valuable educational experience to nurse practitioners with an interest in dermatology through the Nurse Practitioner's Forum. Topics include, but are not limited to, melanoma treatment, neurodermatitis, psoriasis, and challenging pediatric cases. If you have never attended a DNA Convention, you can look forward to building friendships with those who share your passion and understand the challenges you face each day. Our members often consider the convention to be an annual reunion because it gives them the chance to reconnect with lifelong friends. The DNA strives to be the nursing community's authority for knowledge and expertise in dermatologic care and this year's convention focuses on excellence in the areas of collaboration, discovery, and education.
